Reminiscing the past

on my way home in the extremely crowded train compartment, i suddenly felt sad.
it seems a long long time since i met my secondary school classmates
guess big butt is an exception cos i succeeded in dragging her into CIP tutoring so we'll get to see each other more often.

i miss my old clique :(
with kai lynn, hui qi, sushan, jingwen, and zhanglin

i miss the way zhang lin always wants to teach me how to write the word "si (dead)" and proceed to strangling me
i miss how funny kai lynn's expression can be when she stones
i miss how i laughed at sushan and jingwen while they fight.
i miss huiqi who has been in the same class as me for 4 whole years.

YEA i do miss those days
but i'm enjoying life now too
i guess all things come to an end but i still miss them

i think i slept only 3 hours or even less cos i couldn't sleep on the hard plastic table

the whole chalet was just like a tiny 3-room flat with furniture falling apart...
on the first day, i think the sofa broke -.-
k the real big problem is the toliet! it really smelt like shit ok.... i'm like paying for the chalet and the toliet smells just like those kind of toliet no one cleans for ages... the result was that i restricted my water intake to reduce the number of times i have to visit the disgusting toliet... den i ended up with a dry and cracking lip when i set off for eop

i seem to have lots of complaints :P

ok last complaint: there were like 10 packets of hotdogs for the bbq with only 20 + ppl or even lesser... i nearly choke on hotdogs >.<

the scene of hotdogs piled up on a plate after being microwaved remains vividly in my mind... i think someone even suggested eating hotdogs as forfeit -.-

k final complaint: i realise people just love freebies! they dun care what it is they just want something free.. and its not only singaporeans. when i went for eop, these freebies-loving ppl almost tore the booth cos they want a free towel...

excuse me, one towel is only like less than 1 buck? there was this particular aunty that pissed me off... she played the game like umpteen times until she got so proficient in it that she could get a towel as a price everytimie she played. then when the towels ran out, she came and scolded us in chinese, telling us how long she queued and now we were telling them, there were no more TOWELS? she already got like 3-4 towels le, and those who did not get even one weren't making any noise... wad's de problem with her?! she was also making a din when we needed to close the stall for stage performance, she was ranting about how long she queued and that we were just going to close the stall? is she deaf or wad? we kept repeating that we will open the stall again at 6 pm...

in the end, one of the CC ppl handed her a free highlighter and a tiny notepad and immediately she says ok, i'll be back at 6.... its a wonder wad freebies can do to ppl...my tian ah...

saturday went to CIP tuition wif liu li n yh!

after CIP, we went to IMM for lunch @ pepper lunch. made me pok la :(

REASON: cos my family having a bbq wif all my relatives

in de end, waited and wasted time outside until my family set off for downtown east....

by the time i reached the bbq site, it was like 8 + le....
well, all de little boys were sitting in de chalet rooom playing X-box

sat around playing wif the babies with my tang ge

he was running in circles around the pavilion... and around and around
non-stop

den he decided to challenge himself by running an even longer route

cant even catch hold of him to pull him back to the pavillion cos
he will start wriggling and pulling n CRYING!
but once you let him go, he will jus continue running like nothing happened
my tang ge will jus try and catch hold of him for fun jus to watch his face

after helping to clear up de mess, my uncle gave me a ride home

After half a year(at least), I gotten my chance to sing 爱的主旋律 with dear Jasly!

Went Kbox with Jas today after promos ended.

Well, going to Kbox has never been uneventful before.
This time is no exception.

First up, the toilet problem.
The ladies is, hmm how should I put it, out of bounds?!
Yah that's the word.
It's under construction or something.
So the handicapped toilet has been conveniently converted to the ladies.
The single cubicle there has upset a toilet-goers like me.
Simply beacuse queueing takes alot of time and this, obviously, is no good for my bladder.

Then comes the room problem.
Initially they gave us room 57.
Hmm. Trust me when I say the room is small.
The distance from the TV screen to the couch was like less than 50cm away.
And don't forget there's a coffee table in between them.
We could stretch our hands and touch the screen.
Even the waiter was finding it hard to move around.

So even though it sounds IMMENSELY stupid, I rang the counter and requested for a change in rooms.
Reason being, the TV is too close.
She echoed my reason, 'TV too close?!'
I was like, 'Yah.'
Hahas.
So we ended up in room 37.
Which, by the way, was much bigger.

Then I kept seeing that ATTITUDE cum 欠扁 guy around.
YOU know who I mean, don't you?
Sorry! Natural detest.

And something weird happened in the room today.
You know those kinda very common shampoo smell?
I think it's Johnsons and Johnsons or something liddat.
A abrupt diffusion of this smell entered our room.
Weird yah?
There seemed to be no way that smell could have gotten into the room.
Anyways,. the smell disappeared soon.
So we acted like nothing happened and continued to sing.

Contest Rules

For each song composition, only a maximum of 4 persons (regardless of composers or lyricists) is allowed.

Lyrics are to be written in Chinese.

Competition is open to Singaporeans, PR or official holders of student pass / work permit / employment pass.

All submissions (music and lyrics) must be unencumbered and cleared of all rights.

Closing date for submission is on 30 Sep 2007.

Song submissions must be in either wma, mp3, aiff or wav formats.

Song submissions must be accompanied by lyrics.

During preliminary rounds, songs will be judged by an expert panel.

Judges’ decision will be final and no correspondence will be entertained.

A 15-second preview of the songs will be made available on the Internet.

Selected Quarter Finalists will be required to sign an agreement with MediaCorp Studios and will be required to appear on-air when necessary.

The finals will be held on Mar 23, 2008.
